Start early at Datanla Falls, where a short alpine coaster ride down through the pine forest makes for a fun warm-up before the walking trails. Continue to Elephant Falls by mid-morning, when the light through the mist is best for photos and the crowds have not yet arrived.
Finish the day at Pongour Falls, the widest of the three and quieter thanks to its distance from the city center. Bring sandals with good grip, since the rocks near all three falls stay damp year-round.
